What a brilliant evening our members and guests enjoyed at our recent annual Cheese and Wine celebration. A huge thank you to our Master of Cheese, William Cohen, and to Laurie, the exceptionally knowledgeable wine expert from Wellbrook Wines. Crowborough Beacon Golf Club hosted the event with their customary professionalism, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and serving a delicious Tapas supper. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a memo

Our last breakfast meeting of the year was very popular, with some members wearing their Christmas jumpers for the first time this season! The dates for next year are now on the website and booking is open. Our first meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, 6th January , and we look forward to seeing everyone bright and early.

What a treat to attend the Civic Carol Service on Thursday, the singing from the choir and schools was beautiful. We were able to to present Evelyn Fitt with her prize for the first correct entry in the Chamber Elf on the Shelf competition to be pulled out of the hat! Other winers were Daisy Chick and Elizabeth Francis who also won vouchers. Thank you to all the Crowborough retailers who took part, some very imaginative Elf hiding was out there!
